WA Uranium Projects
Hinkler Well Project - E53/1247
The Hinkler Well project is located in the most prospective area in Western Australia and probably the world for calcrete-hosted uranium deposits. The project is situated 24 km southwest of Wiluna in Western Australia - between the Centipede Uranium deposit (7Mt @ 0.63 kg/t U3O8) and the Dawson Well-Hinkler Well uranium prospects. The project area encompasses a similar geological environment to that of the nearby Yeelirrie deposit (35Mt @ 1.5 kg/t U3O8) and includes some 2 km strike of a uranium-mineralised calcrete-filled palaeo-channel near Abercrombie Creek. It covers an area previously explored for gold and nickel and as such has had little uranium exploration over it.
Murderer's Pool Project
The Murderers Pool project is situated 110 km northwest of Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. This project is viewed as being prospective for unconformity related uranium mineralisation. Uranium mineralisation has been identified within the basal sandstone member of a sedimentary sequence unconformably overlying Lower Proterozoic metamorphic rocks and along a north-south fault zone. The Project covers some a highly prospective yet largely unexplored, faulted basal sandstone unit.
